About Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church

"Here to serve the Lord and our neighbor"

You Will Be Welcomed With Christian Love

If you love the Lord, and want to serve in spirit as well as in truth and worship in a family setting, visit us. Our church involves singing, praying, and hearing God's word each Sunday at 10:30 am. "Thus far the Lord has led me on, thus far his power prolongs my days, and every evening shall make known some fresh memorial of his grace." We believe that salvation is of the Lord.

What To Expect

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to worship God in spirit and in truth - to love our neighbors as you love yourself - encourage God's children out of every nation kindred and tongue.

FELLOWSHIP

At the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church, you'll be warmly welcomed by a group of fellow believers who actively seek to grow closer to Jesus Christ through daily discipleship.

Before and after our services, you'll engage in warm conversations with genuine people just like you who are facing the same daily issues. The joyous sound of children playing is heard immediately after the closing prayer.

Fellowship is important to all of our friends and members.

WORSHIP

Sunday morning worship starts at 10:30 am and continues until around 12:00 noon. Our worship involves singing, preaching, and prayer. All of our services are family integrated, and all ages worship our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, together.

The family was the very first institution created by God.

SINGING

We begin with 30 minutes of congregational singing at 10:30 am. At our church, the only musical instrument used during worship is our voice. The practice of the early (primitive) church was a cappella singing of praises to the Lord.

God created such instruments, our voices, to sing praises to His name. We believe that God has commanded each of us to have joy flow from all of our hearts in the form of songs. All of the songs are chosen by the congregation.

Everyone is able to participate in the praise service not just by singing, but also by selecting songs that God has laid upon our hearts.

PREACHING

The message will involve a combination of experiential, topical, and expositional elements depending on the gift being used.

We are blessed to have several preaching gifts visit us. The preaching responsibility is shared, but our pastor is given the majority of the time to oversee everyone in the flock.

All sermons are brought forth from the King James (Authorized) Bible. We are convinced you'll never leave the building spiritually hungry. We will feed you spiritually.

PRAYER

This is an important part of our worship. We take the time needed to allow the congregation to announce any prayer requests or thanksgivings directly from their heart. We truly believe that the prayer of righteous people is heard, powerful, and effective.
